Consider that this season brings an opportunity to remember just how much we have in common with those “common” folks Christ spent His life and ministry with. He walked and talked with an unlikely group to show that His ultimate sacrifice and message of grace was for “all people.”

You've Got An Opportunity This Christmas
On Wednesday night I shared with your students about the “insignificant” community of people who were a part of the birth of Christ. Simple people without much money, poor actually. Dirty shepherds who were known for not being very trustworthy. It really was a hodgepodge of humanity into which Christ was birthed.
"And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying, Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men."
